Flower arranging is a full sensory experience that can fill your mind and leave less room for anxiety. Flower and plants are selected based on participants’ moods and emotions. Choosing plants and flowers based on how one is feeling is a form of self expression, assisting in the learning process of identifying and expressing emotions in a safe and healing way. This activity can be used as a tool to ground and self soothe, and to practice being in the moment. It is also a practice for of self-care, as the end product is something participants get to leave the session with to enjoy in their space.
